Really bad stitch like pain :-(

I've had this really bad pain today for about 4 hours now and it's agony. It just feels like a really, really bad stitch around my belly button and at the top and left hand side if my stomach. the only thing that has eased it for now is lying on my right hand side
Has anybody else experienced this type of pain before? I've had stitch like pains for a few weeks on and off and off but not debilitating like this morning

I've had this; could it be a baby body part pressing hard from the inside which has made you feel a bit bruised? Try a bath or a hot water bottle on it.

I had this last night while i was out walking the dog, it had me doubled over and ive had it a few times today too. I dont have a clue what it is but im seeing my MW tomorrow so i'll find out, its bloody painful though! Hope your ok

Thanks for the replies ladies, it has eased as the day has gone on thank goodness. I'm curious what it us though so be interested to see what your MW says tomorrow Steph! x

I had this twice with my last pregnancy and it lasted all day... the first time i went in to be monitored, they couldnt find anything wrong though, they just sent me away with paracetamol.

Any news on what this was. I've had it for a week now but only when I slept on my right hand side. Today I've had it during the day all day, ranging from uncomfortable to painful.

Not sure whether to see a doctor or midwife or whether this is just normal?
