Hey girlies, My stretch marks on my bump are driving me mad,
I've moisturised them with dove, cocoa butter, the works and nothing seems to be working...
what else can I do?
Any suggestions?
Many thanks Emily x

Chamomile cream is recommended for itchiness https://www.squidoo.com/Eczema-Home-Remediesand is safe for use in pregnancy. Cool baths can also help, as well as Piriton antihistamines.

I'll get the OH, to get some later and give it a try thanks!

Hope it works! Definitely try and stay out of the heat tho', that's what I've been advised to help combat the evil itching!

I thought we werent allowed antihistimines? My pregnancy book says their a no no - Ive been suffering with hayfever! For the stretchmarks u could put a couple drops of bio oil in ur bath to really help moisturise and repair the skin or just keep up the moisturising twice a day with cocoa butter or aloe vera cream and keep cool x

Generally no, but my Consultant said to take Piriton to try to help with the itching I get because of my Cholestasis (liver/blood disorder) which makes you itch like mad (it didn't help!) but also to help me sleep, as it does make you drowsy.

Is it possible that you are developing PUPPS?
That is really common in the end stages of pregnancy.

I'm having to carry a little tube of coco butter with me. I use Bio Oil twice a day but it doesn't seem to be enough anymore..... :-(.

Aloe vera gel from the fridge or get some oats, put them in a muzzy, soak in water and dab on. It'll stop the irritation and cool them slightly.

Keep them moisturised as much as possible.
