So this morning was the third time I've experianced brown discharge.

I had a doctors appointment last week, but they didn't check the baby but the doctor said brown isn't bad, red is bad and that she would rather see brown then red because brown is old blood, but.... this is the third time I've had this brown discharge.

First time I tried to shrug it off, second time I got a little nervous but now three times. I'm really scared.

Anyone else have this?

And its not a lot, but its definetally brown.

I was reading a magazine in my OB's office and there was an article about this. The author said she had spotting/brown bleeding every. single. day. of her first trimester and then it just magically stopped the day her second trimester started. The point of the article was that spotting/brown bleeding is very very common and that many women have it. If it is accompanied by a lot of pain, then you are supposed to worry. But bleeding with no pain was written as being normal.

I have brown bleeding about once a week and have a hematoma (bleed) in the uterus due to it stretching so quickly. I also have the same thing from cervical irritation (if I were to bd, a transvaginal ultrasound, even my vaginal progesterone gel application). Even knowing what causes it doesn't make me feel fabulous as I've had a previous mc. I just try to stay calm and essentially am living from one us to the next.

Hard not to be scared after a loss.

Thank you.

I know in the back of my mind its normal, but it just scares me. I need to stop over thinking. I just got so scared.

P.s. WTBmyBFP I really like your picture, is that an umbrella cockatoo? I ha ve several parrots myself.

It's so scary. And the fact (for me) that my symptoms seem so minimal today is driving me nuts. Yes! Birds! We have two umbrellas, two fancy green cheek conures, a sun conure, a Quaker parrot, two cats, and tentatively three kids on the way. Lol.

We are gluttons for punishment in this house.

I'm the same way,

One dog, two cats, one scarlet macaw, two moluccan cockatoos, two african greys and a blue fronted amazon, and one savannah monitor.

My house is a zoo and I love it.

Did you say three kids on the way?

Yes mam! Terrified and paranoid don't begin to cover it. Best part is high risk pregnancies get a ton of monitoring and ultrasound.

I've had brown spotting every day ever since my bfp (so for a little over 3 weeks now.) I went in for an early scan about a week ago and all they saw was a sac and didn't see anything that could have caused the bleeding. I go in this week for another scan, so we'll see. Sorry I'm not much help, but you're definitely not alone!
