Really weird AF?

Hey ladies, I'm hoping someone will be able to help me out with a question. DH and I have been TTC since June. This month I thought AF came on the 3rd, which should have been right around the time it was due. I woke up and there was some blood on the tp when I wiped. All day I spotted off and on but the flow didn't get heavier, and the spotting was random. The next day, I had a couple spots when I wiped, and the same on the 5th. These were very light pink/orange spots and looked kind of watery. I kept feeling a "gush" and run to the bathroom thinking it was heavier but there was nothing. There wasn't ever a single drop on a pantyliner. But one time I felt the "gush", the pantyliner was wet... no blood though.

I thought maybe it was implantation. I have been feeling very tired, and yesterday felt like a cold was coming on (but I don't feel like it today). I took a test last night and it was negative.

DH and I had sex last night, and again this morning, and after (both times) when I went to the bathroom, there was a lot of pinkish blood in the toilet and when I wiped. I'm having mild cramps like AF, but nothing bad at all. And the blood is not red, or clots or anything, just pink but there's a decent amount of it.

So what in the world is happening?? Did the blood from AF just hang around up inside there until we had sex and that made it come out? LOL, I don't know but I've never experienced a "period" like this before. I'm hoping maybe someone will have some insight for me!

Don't know, wish I had an answer for ya! I've been spotting since the day AF was due as well but its not pink, its brown...maybe IB...fingers crossed for you!

That is definately odd! Have you POAS at all?

Thank you . I did forget to mention that one of the times this morning it was brown, and then went back to pink

I took one last night, before the heavier spotting started, and it was negative. It wasn't FMU though and I hadn't been holding my urine very long either. I still have one test left, I'm trying to decide if I should take it in the morning or wait a few days.

If you have a cheap HPT, then I'd test tomorrow with FMU. If not, then I'd wait a few days to see if AF shows up first.

I am the same as you come off pill june /july was due 28th aug and nothing till 1st sep but just a bit brown nothing really only had a slight bleed on sat and now all gone ? have you just come off the pill may i ask ? x

It is a Kroger brand test, would that be considered cheap? LOL

I agree with wildflower. It sounds like my spotting during pregnancy. Every time we have sex I have spotting.
The cervix is really full of blood when you get pregnant, and things like bearing down to poop or pee, having sex, things like that, can cause spotting. I didn't start spotting around the time of my period, it came a little later for me, but it totally could be possible. If you don't have a period within the next week, I'd encourage you to take another home pregnancy test.

Could just be a very early and light AF like I had then I soon thereafter O'ed again according to my OPK's I had bloods and it was all negative. Goodluck and keep us posted it could be a sign who knows we are all very much different!

Thanks everyone The spotting that followed the sex has stopped altogether again. I will take the other test, probably tomorrow morning, and will keep you all updated!

Hi Hun

I also experienced this and thought it was implantation bleeding and ended up going to a Gynecologist and having a scan i have small cysts and one had burst which was why i was spotting and had period type pains for 3 weeks. it might be PCOS. I got checked out because it was getting me down and i wanted to get checked before continueing to try.

Well after I posted I had no more spotting anything, even after sex. But the other pregnancy test was still negative. So I guess it was just a light period this month.

Picked up some OPKs, a basal thermometer and pre-seed today. We're really going to get into actively TTC now
