reason behind having baseline scan at cd 2 to 5?

I'm about to do a monitored femera cycle and was told to come in for a baseline scan between cd 2 and 5. Is there any reason I can't come in on cd 1? I believe my period will start tonight, so cd 1 won't really be until tomorrow. Monday and Tuesday arent great days for me, so I was wondering if there's really any reason to wait until cd 2? I plan on asking my doctor, but thought maybe you ladies would know. Thanks!

I'm not sure the answer, but my clinic always has me come in for a baseline scan between CD 1 and 3. So, CD 1 is obviously ok for my clinic. Hope it works out for you!

I was told CD3 too, no idea why this day and not CD1 or 2 either. I've just had a look on google and can't find anything but there must be some reason behind it!

I'm sure one of the girls will know
