Hi everyone I have an appt with the above in Feb and don't know what to expect. Is there anyone here who's been through this process? How did yo find it? I'm a bit worried they'll look at my age and not help.

sorry about your losses. I don't think they will not accept you bc of your age.
What they will do is a lot of blood work to check any possible antibody or deficiency. Good luck and baby dust

I went and had blood test for blood clotting disorders and general bloods (they didn't specify). When all cam each ok, I am sorry to say they just sent me on my way with no further testing. I do think they would refuse due to age, but I believe 90% of cases there is no obvious reason for the losses, so you may be disappointed. I wish you the best of luck, and a sticky bean very soon xx

Hi hunni thank you for the reply. I had the appointment and he just put it down to rotten luck as we were and to keep trying! He didn't really site age but did say mc's can increase with age to make us aware (as if we did'nt know ) I got a BFP to day so fingers crossed xxx sending lots of love x

Hi there,
I have been refered for testing based on my age (I am 37) have 4 boys 1 with my DH so know I can have his baby, but I too don't know what to expect.
My app is next Monday and I am hoping that they will take some blood there and then for the routine bloods and clotting ones but I am fairly sure it will just be a history app.....
I was also told to expect no reason except bad luck, but by being under them it also means that if we try again I can be scanned at 6.5 weeks and have extra monitoring, which makes me feel more in control.
