grrrr! my period came back today! i had no warning at all and consequently ruined my new sheets as I woke up with a nice mess....sorry TMI!!!!! I am still BF and wondering if it is common to get it around 9 months after giving birth? I had no warning and i usually get terrible terrible cramps etc. My daughter has been a pain lately with sleeping and just general grumpiness and i was wondering if there is a link between hormones associated with getting my period and my baby having troubles sleeping cuz it seems to be happening at the same time..........could be a coincidence or other things going on such as we moved on the first.....any ideas about a possible link?

Oh dear I suppose it has to come back eventually I am still waiting for mine to return. On the one hand it's great not having it, but on the other hand I keep getting worried I'm pregnant again I think the hormones do affect the taste of your breastmilk, but I'm not sure about links between that and grumpy babies There are so many things that can make them grouchy
