I don't have a known infertility issue but I am thinking I need to step it up slightly after 2 chemicals...
I heard of things like aspirin, progesteronw etc. What would be things I should get checked or could try to stay pregnant this cycle?
I tend to get the faintest pos. imaginable and thens its over.

I am in a hurry to conceive due to my lyme disease which does not allow me to experiment for a long time. With pregnancy hormones I am almost cured as well and without near bedridden.

Hi Marumi, I don't have any advice I'm sorry but I too have suffered 2 chemical pregnancies and know how devastating they are. I asked my fertility specialist about things I can do to help and she just said nothing, it's just bad luck and that 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage, which wasn't helpful at all but I suppose it did help ease my guilt a bit as all I could think was what did I do wrong to cause this. Hope you get some more informative answers soon as I would like to know if I could do anything to help too x

I was told that there's not much that most doctors will do until after a third chemical. BUT, some people have their RE's run recurrent pregnancy loss panels which are blood tests that check for mutations. You can also have your progesterone levels checked 7 days after ovulation via blood to see where they are. If the levels are low you can ask your doctor for supplemental progesterone each cycle. A lot of people take baby aspirin just to help with blood flow to the uterus and hopefully prevent any potential blood clotting issues from causing miscarriages.

I got tested for recurrent pregnancy loss mutations and mine came back normal. I've only had 2 chemicals so my best bet at this point is just adding in aspirin to see if that helps, and praying for good egg quality. It takes about 3 months to generate eggs so taking c0q10 and other supplements to help with egg and sperm quality for me and DH in the meantime.

Hope this helps!
