repurposing for baby...

    i took my dresser from when i was a baby and made it over for my baby. i even built a frame at the top so it could double as my changing table...what do you guys think?

    holy s#*t!! that is fantastic!! you could make a living out of that. im not one too piss in pockets either. that is really impressive!

    thats the sort of thing i want to do - get old furniture and do it up. im going to be living on ebay for baby over the next few weeks i think :lol: looks really good. what paint did you use?

    That looks brilliant - I love it! Great re-purposing and I love the jungle theme of the nursery! :)

    Wow, i love this.. so cute.

    Are they paintings on wall stickers, if so where can i get some?? :) :)

    Wow! It looks fantastic! OH and I recently did the same thing with the old furniture but its not as good! :haha:

    Wow. That looks amazing. I would love more details. Any tips? What kind of paint? Etc. I'm planning to refinish a dresser for my son and am worried I'll botch it as I'm not very crafty.

    yeah they are wall decals... i live in the US but they are made by carters so i am not sure of you can get them on the carter's website, or i am certain carters is carried in the UK at varius stores =) the tall stemmy flowers i got at my local craft store though.

    wow thats really great! you should be really proud of yourself. I'm planning on trying to do this do an old glider we have.. the only problem is I cant find any new cushions that I could buy that will fit! =[

    I just found a site that tells how to make cushions.. I'm going to give this a try.. but sometimes its more expensive this way..oh well we'll see. if anyone has any suggestions let me know!

    we stripped the paint of first with a scraper and then sanded it with an electric sander. DH wiped the entire thing down with alcohol after to make sure it was clean.

    i used an indoor paint with primer built in in a satin finish.

    i'm typically not an artisitc person in this sense(im more of a baker and cake decorator) but i felt inspired for my baby<3
