I will be cloth diapering my baby and was trying to get some information on detergents.

I will be using a dry bucket and spraying solids in the toliet.

Here are a couple of links to detergents available in the US and canada:

https://www.diaperjungle.com/detergent-chart.html

https://www.pinstripesandpolkadots.com/detergentchoices.htm

I just use Tide Original- not rated highly on the charts but works for a lot of moms, including us. Really, water quality plays a big role in how clean things get and whether you'll have build up of detergent in diapers so what works for one parent doesn't always work for another so it can be a bit of trial and error when starting out :flower:

hth! :)

Hiya!
Travis has been in cloth for nearly 12 months now & ive just started using soap nuts... i wish id tried them earlier! Theyre cheaper than washing powder, and they dont leave any residue, so nappies dont get all clogged up with powder & start leaking & smelling. Also means no need to strip wash every 2 months! Id really recommend u try them, even if u only get a small bag its worth buying just to see how they work 4 u!
