Hi girls. I know we can't lie in bed on our back... I lie on my left side most of the time because it is much better position for circulation and stuff BUT I find my left side very stiff and sore .... has anyone have better sleeping position to recommend?

i dont think there is one! i alternate between my left and right side in the night, try having a pillow support your bump xxx

I sleep on right and left sides and use a pillow for support!!

yeah i do exactly the same. unfort no position seems particualy comfy. Plus i had shingles down my left hand side not so long back so i have a constantly numb left side. although when reading books, i have noticed they recommend the left hand side with a pillow under bump and between legs.
xx hope this helps??

I normally sleep on the left anway but sometimes i need to alternate, i just surround myself with lots of cushions and pillows

I try and go to sleep on my left side but I always end up on my back >.<

Same as most of the others - I sleep on either side, with cusions/pillows for support.

I used to sleep on either side but always woke up on my back

yeah. were both the same. i lie on my side and would wake up on my back. Thanks for all the suggestions!

I start out sleeping on my right side, then switch between my right and my left. My hips get super sore if I lay on one side for too long. I have a body pillow, and that helps alot.

Do you have a body pillow? They're definitely worth the investment, IMO. :)

nope. I don't have the body pillow. I find them quite expensive with only 8 weeks to go. I'm not sure...confused whether to get or not to get.

I cant really get comfy anyway... lol... I was sleeping on sides and backs for awhile.

And then began sleeping on my right side as much as I could. But now im going to try the left side more as bubs is constantly facing my right side, so im trying to encourage her to face the back. She was facing back at my 36w growth scan, and yesterday she was facing to the side again.

Keeps switching and not staying engaged.

Trust me - you should get one now. I only have 10 days to go and I am really struggling. You're better off starting early so that you don't end up with hip pain like I have. It's really not nice.

Honey - my baby is laying to the side and the midwife said that it is in the perfect position. They normally favour one side or the other and kick towards the hip bones.

Its the left side. Same side as the heart. Though I would suggest either side. Better then the back or belly. I sleep on either side with a pillow in between my legs. I need to buy a body pillow but the thing is I would need two! I hate when they squish down too low
