Ripley's Fertility Statue?

My husband and I were watching unsolved mysteries and it talked about Ripley's Fertility Statues. Apparently, the statue has been helping women conceive. Anyone heard of the statue? Ripley lets people in for free to touch the statue. It's in Orlando, Florida.

You can type in Ripley Fertility Statute in Google and find information on it. There's a bunch of documentaries on it on youtube as well.

All you lucky ladies living in Orlando Florida, have you tried touching the statute?

Sometimes it travels. It was in Atlantic City last summer on the boardwalk. We heard about it but by the time we finally got out there it was gone.

I'm so jealous of everyone who live so close to the statues. I think I will bug my hubby for a trip down there (we live in California) if we can't conceive after 3 months of trying. I really want a baby for 2012!!

I wonder if it ever travels to Niagara Falls. They have a Ripleys place there and I live close. I've always wanted to go to Orlando though.

Apparently if you can't get there you can fax your handprints in. I may just do that.

Oh, I've heard of this on the unsolved mysteries show a month ago. Too bad I am way far from it. Though, if you can fax your hand prints thats cool. Wonder if it will work the same.

I am trying to find a fax # but haven't been able to. Apparently you copy your hands and then rub your hands on that copy and fax it to them, they send it back to you after its been rubbed on the statue.

I touched the one in blackpool in june and I'm still not pregnant they said it could take three months so if I fall pregnant this cycle it will have worked but I won't know until october anyway!

i was trying to concieve for 2 years without any luck at all and me and my husband decided to go touch the statues in Feb in orlando and 3 months later in may i found out i was pregnant and now i am due Feb 2012 with a boy! it truly did work for me while nothing else worked ( we both touch the statues for about ten minutes) i felt a little silly but i had to give it a shot and now i dont know why i wanna keep touching it to have many more babies its so exciting ! my daughter will be turning 9 this year and i tried for so long thinking i lost hope. and now i tell everyone i know who is TTC to give it a rub and good luck . i am a true believer !!!

OMG, thats so exciting!!! Im planning to go down there to touch the statue sometime soon. Probably in a couple months.
