Roll up, roll up! Statistical chance of at least one BFP! - *15th BFP Announced!*

Hey Lisa I use softcups too. Do u bin them after one 'use' or wash them in some way? I have re-used one once but mostly bin.

Good to see we have started the bfps coming. Congratulations. Let's see if we can achieve an 'above average' in the end.

I have continued the house clear. Indeed I am rock and roll. I have however, cleared myself a ttc cupboard next to my bed! Let the BD commence. Working towards SMEP So should bd tomorrow. Cd8.

DH has his SA appointment for sept 13th cd17 and has to abstain for 2 days prior so last chance for bd is cd15. Let's hope that OV is on time or early.

Hello all! This is my hubby and I's first real month TTC. I was 16 dpo today and 3 days late... the :witch: got me this afternoon. I'd love to join the forum though and contribute so that when we get our :bfp: (hopefully next cycle!!) we may be able to help someone else out. :hugs:

Last month I just kept an eye on cm to know when I was ovulating and we bd'd the day before and day of. This month we are going with the pillow under the rear and try to be relaxed about it; have fun. We have only been married a few months- shouldn't be hard. I'm going to try to start charting my temp as well. Anybody do this and have advice?

Thanks so much and good luck ladies!! Congrats on your :bfp: Stephie!

i'll be honest honey I have re used them a couple of times:blush:. I would wash them off with piping hot water, didn't want to use soap or cleaner in case it cuased problems so i figured that boiling water would sterilise them as much as they needed to be. It all depends on how long i had used it for. If i'd only used it for 4 hours or so I'd re use but if i'd slept the whole night with it i'd bin it. They do say you can use them for 12 hours so I figured as long as they are clean and sterilised by means of HOT water then why not? ALthough... I would only use a ised one if i knew I was only going to be using it for a few hours. I kept within the 12 hours usage time they tell you. They are pretty expensice to just throw after 3-4 hours of use...

Oh, just noticed that this thread is posted in the TTC #1...sorry girls, i didn't mean to intrude... I am ttc#2 ... I'm such an idiot for not looking at what forum things are on :(

Good tip thank you. Although my DH knows about them he hasn't seen them I thought it might kill 'the mood' in future. I've said he can see them once we've got pregnant.

:haha: yes I k now what you mean. I showed them to DH BEFORE a time we were Bd'ing...that way he could get over the OMG their MASSIVE things before I used them. however...despite "preparing" him he still reacted like this... when I pulled them out the drawer. Have to admit, I also . There has been no such thing as "the mood" in this cycle for us, we had decided this cycle to just do what was necessary and forget the 'pleasantries'. We BD'd when we were EXHAUSTED, when I had injured my back and couldn't even move one arm, and when i was ill. I went to cuddle DH yesterday and he groaned and said "there's no more left....go away" You just gotta laugh hun, after the cycle I just had if i don't laugh i'd cry.

Just for the record we don't normally do things this way during our cycles but after 21 months we decided we had nothing to loose by treating it like a military operation to see if it works...tried everythign else so why not?:haha:....oh the things we do while TTC. :hugs:

I don't think anyone minds! I for one like an experts opinion :D

I wouldn't call myself an expert but thank you honey :hugs:. I'd like to stick around if no one minds?

:hugs:

Doing SMEP again this cycle!
Will be testing around Sept 27...DH birthday...hopefully ill have a gift of a lifetime for him!

I like the sound of these statistics. Anything for a chance. I don't know what day I might be testing or AF shows as I have irregular periods. I'm temping, using moonstone fertility bracelet and neclace, maca, concieve + and a new relaxed approach (how long I'll stay relaxed for has yet to be seen) BABY :dust: TO ALL AND HOPEFULLY MORE THAN 1 :bfp: ON HERE!

Congrats to all those who've had their BFP. :happydance:

Anyone else had AF type cramps since the day of ovulation that hasn't went away? I've got heat pads on my back and everything today because the cramps are so bad. Mind you...I also feel like I'm coming down with cold today. Rubbish!

Hi chloesnowie10 - Apologies I completely missed your post! Welcome to the group and I'm all crossed for you this cycle xx

Hey Lisa2701, no, you can't leave!! Once your name is on that front page the doors are locked! It'd be even better to hear the insight from someone who has been there, done that, bought the maternity wear :) so please pull up a seat!

Thanks for your thoughts on the softcups, I love the 'soup in a bowl' expression! I agree, it definitely isn't the nicest! they sound like a girls multipurpose best friend (well, the sort without batteries anyway :winkwink:)! Admiring ur determined attitude towards bding, injuries and all! There seems to be nothing that will stand in the way of getting that BFP - love it! This is my 19th cycle so I know how the spark can leave the room over BDing! In answer to your last post, I haven't had cramping but I am feeling a lot of movement down there, twinges, pokes and the like...I'm 6dpo so hoping it's all good! Hoping that your cramps are a good thing for you also! It's odd to feel AF type pain so early on and a cold/stuffy nose seems to be a common BFP symptom so fingers Xd!! x

The same can be said for you MrsFX, love the dedicated TTC cupboard - you are truly on a mission! Great idea though, all my vits are scattered about the place - FA, Omega3 Bvits and EPO in bathroom cabinet to take after brushing my teeth, Royal Jelly in my bag to take with my lunch at work, OH strapped to bed to use and abuse as I see fit....! Best of luck with SMEP this cycle, hope your O date behaves itself and isn't late xx

Andielina - welcome to the forum and group, sorry about af - always a bit more upsetting when af is late. Thanks for your info, will be keeping fingers crossed for you!

The best advice I could give for charting your temps is to temp at the same time every day with a good thermometer (not necessarily expensive) that gives you temps to within 2 decimal places i.e. 34.22 etc. If you intend on checking CM/CP you can cross reference this info with your temps to gauge a better understanding on how you are fairing from cycle to cycle (CM is a great guide for this if you'd rather not check your CP right now). Fertility Friend is a great resource for charting your temps and can predict your O days and also pinpoint them with a great deal of accuracy.

If you want to know anything else let me know hun, best of luck this cycle xx

Stinas, that'll be one fab present! Much cheaper than going out and buying him something too lol!'Here, have my used HPT sweety, happy birthday and you're welcome!' Hope it is your cycle xx

littlebabywish - welcome and best of luck this cycle.. It's hard to stay relaxed I agree, trying my best to keep the fun hanging on in there! xx

:happydance: SO glad I can stay :)

@ "the sort without batteries anyway" ...

AS for the determination, its becoming a problem.... i'm frightened to stop:blush:... DH got harrassed last night again...."just in incase, i mean you never know, right?" :haha:.... Feel like i should be saying....Hi I'm Lisa and I am addicted to TTC.... :haha:

Oh I didn't know about the stuffy nose/cold being a good thing....somehow it doesn't feel as bad now :haha:.

Just been out for lunch with my mum dad sister and her BF and of course DH and DS as its my sister bday. They all been having a go at me for not taking painkillers as I am in a lot of pain. I have a condition that causes a lot muscle and joint pain and I am on strong painkillers for it, but I don't want to take ANYTHING that will risk a possibly fertile egg not implanting so decided I wasn't taking them after ov. Anyways....my mum know's I am TTC but my dad SIster and sister BF doesn't. So they were going on and on and on about it and I eventually had to just say...look...i'm in the second half of my cycle OK and we've been trying too long to take risks like painkillers, so drop it! My mum, instantly knew what I was talking about but I could see my sister my dad and my sister BF mind going.....:saywhat: ....:haha:...wonder IF/WHEN they will work it out.

Could have throttled DH as he was the one who told everyone I was refusing to take painkillers. Then tried to claim he didn't know the reason behind me not taking them or he'd not have mentioned it. :growlmad:

Hi Lisa. They do say that you get cold like symptoms that come and go v quickly around implantation because your imune system is reduced. The back ache would correlate could be made worse by your condition. I hope it is implantation hon.

I think the back ache is caused by the AF type cramps I've got. Mind you the cramps have eased a bit since I put the heat pad on.

i hope your right about the cold like symptoms. It strange coz I have the stuffy nose, sneezing, and headaches but the aches and pains that I have are my normal ones (different to those you get with the cold/flu).

I feel REALLY positive and hopeful for this cycle. I really don't normally let myself get so hopefull but I just got a good feeling about this cycle... I don't know why. DH is trying to tell me that I need to not get my hopes up, which I know is true, but for some reason I can't help it this cycle.

OH and I have a CBFM in the post on its way so even if this isn't my cycle I am looking forwards to using that.

congrats Stephie! Looks like the plan to book something important for next year has worked! Hope the wedding dress isn't too tight :) you've given us all hope.

I'd love to join in on this thread! :)

Been trying for 9ish - 10 months now. Trying a little more of the relaxed approach this month.

Using pre-seed, BD'd for 6 days in a row around my expected fertile period, and legs up after BD.

AF is expected to arrive on Sept. 11th.

Just did another test and the line is still faint but getting darker :happydance::happydance:

I have my :bfp:(fingers crossed for a sticky bean!) :cloud9::cloud9:

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!
If you were temping...can you add your chart here?
