Hello secrethopeful and welcome! Thanks for your stats, I'll add them now
Oo lets do swapsies with the questions as I am very interested to know about your retroverted cervix! Were you diagnosed by your GP or realise this through self diagnosis? I was examining mine pre O and it seemed to tilt back towards my spine. Now, not sure if this position will change throughout my cycle and in essence 'correct' itself around O time but it did remain tilted on the 2/3 days I checked it.
I completely understand where you are coming from with the temping. I tried it with a cheap thermometer and got rubbish results. I am also very forgetful and sadly, one temp a week isn't concrete enough to judge your cycles by! Ah well!
EPO improves the quality and quantity of fertile CM so can better assist the sperm to the place they need to be! It should be taken up until the point of O as it has a negative effect when taken post O. It has also been known to reduce menstrual breast pain but this would only be effective if you are not TTC as said previously, you shouldn't take after O where breast pains are going to occur.
Side effects can include an upset stomach, nausea, soft stools or a headache. Serious allergic reactions to EPO are rare.
Royal Jelly is a substance secreted from the glands of worker bees. It is a nutritional aid for larvae within their first few days and is the substance that aids in the production of Queen Bees.
I'll just add my little disclaimer before I get 50 angry posters advising me that I am an RJ pusher without pushing the facts(

) as the following benefits are as a result of scientific/medical experimentation therefore the results may be disputed.
The properties for taking this super food (available in fresh or capsule form) is overall health of the reproductive system (supposedly slows the ageing process), increase in libido (I can definitely vouch for that!), reduction of inflammation (great help for those with PCOS and endo), increases the quality of eggs upon ovulation to assist in implantation, improves the quality of sperm and eases PMS symptoms by balancing the hormones. It is known to mimic estrogen in the body so can also help those with low estrogen levels.
It also has non-fertility related properties such as promoting healthy hair and aids in treating auto-immune conditions such as arthritis, also the prevention of vascularization of tumours.
It contains naturally occurring proteins, amino acids, vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C, E, Niacin, pantothenic acid and folic acid - i.e Lotsa goodies! It must be taken in it's purest form as any additives/preservatives will counteract the effects of RJ.
***Royal Jelly comes with an important warning to those with pre-existing allergies - most importantly, allergic reactions to bee stings or honey, asthma and can trigger further allergic reactions and even anaphylactic shock.***
Hope that helps! I've only just started taking it this cycle in 500mg doses once a day with food (no cut off point - take until you get a BFP) so I'll let you know how I get on!
Wow! Sorry for the novel! Just wanted to make you aware of the pros and cons should you decide to take either! I take both and I'm f...f....fine hehe! Hope the PMA, bum in air and choc-a-block diary works a treat! xx
