hello all im so nervous about sex seems silly i know but ive been ttc for four years first ever preg test last sunday positive, ive had alot of cramping and just a general pain in the area so ive put off having romantic time all together im so fearful something will go wrong in this pregnancy as i still cant quite beleive i am its been so long any one else have these fears

Hello! I'm the same! Took so long I had given up hope! Luckily my OH doesn't want to until we have scan and know all is ok! Couldn't bare the thought of bleeding after even if it is safe!

Romance, sex??? not happening here. its bn ages since its happened and the sex will wait even longer. ooh the thought knocks me ill at the min. romance would be nice tho, u know some candles, nice bath, snuggle. but then knowing my hubby if hed done that hed want praise and treats afterwrds for his good behavior. im sure once we get past the first tri, which i think is the longest of them all, we may just look at our oh's as a little more than sperm donors. i wouldnt mind but my hubby is gorgeous looking, maybe i need a night out with him to see smeone else looking at him adoringly then ill want to pounce again, or maybe itll just make me want to pounce on the girl and knock her lights out. haha haha. eeh im only kidding(but hormones can make u do terrible things)

I cant even tell you how unromantic I have been. The gas and constipation alone is enough to turn him off. Nothing like wanting to burp while kissing to really get you in the mood. The one time we tried to get "cozy" I vomited on him. (gross I know, and terribly embarrassing) I wasn't even feeling sick at the time. Probably just motion sickness, but yea I wont be trying anything again until the second trimester. I am now terrified to even attempt it. You would think he would be mad, or grossed out but now its the running joke for the past few weeks. He thinks it hysterical, how nice of him right..*rolls eyes*. I think I prefer him to laugh instead of be completely grossed out by me, but I find his reaction odd...men ugh

Haha, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've been reading all these other threads where people talk about having sex several times a week. Not here. Maybe if I didn't feel like puking and gagging all the time and maybe if I wasn't super bloated, constipated, and gassy and maybe if my boobs and nipples didn't kill. They maybe I would be in the mood.

Happy I'm not alone, although I am hoping things get better soon!

Romance and sex do not exist in our house!! After having our first miscarriage- every pregnancy after (this is the 3rd) has been sexless. hahaha! Actually, my husband and I both agreed to that. We definately have our moments of intimacy- thankfully my hubby finds a growing belly (when a baby is in it), rather sexy!

we havent since i got my BFP 3 weeks ago! think hubby is going out of his mind!! but, i just cant. i had a miscarriage back in july that started the morning after we had sex (it wasnt caused by the sex, i was 9 wks but baby stopped growing at 5, so it was a mmc) but still, its in the back of my mind it may happen again. REALLY want to hold out til 12 weeks but thats still 6 weeks away!!
what are you abstaining ladies doing to keep your men happy??

hello again ladies wow there are a few of us here not getting jiggy lol with regards to keeping him entertain i told him to take a long relieving shower lol he didnt said he is happy to wait and hasnt even tried any moves thats nice but he is being a grumptons in other aspects of life must be nerves men eh?
