Hi ladies
This may be a daft question but what are your routines (if any) with your baby twins? I decided to establish a proper bedtime routine this week so I've been trying to organise the days so that they are tied at night. This is my plan:
8am - wake up, change of clothes, loud/noisy/chatty feed
Snooze for 1-2 hrs
Twin time/tummy time for 1-2 hrs
12noon - feed
Snooze 1-2 hrs
Activities (shopping, visiting etc)
4pm feed
Snooze 1-2 hrs
Play/twin time 1-2 hrs
7pm - bath/wash followed by change of clothes, and feed in aLost darkness with lullabies
8pm - bed (cot)
12 midnight - feed in dark with lullabies
4am as above
So far, the feeds and sleeping seems to be working although I realise this won't last when they start teething! This also a rough plan to aim for, when we're out and about it obviously won't follow as well in the daytime, it's more for our at home time.
My question is, do you follow a routine, if so is it. Working? Anything about the above you would do differently? I'm conscious that although I'm trying for plenty of playtime etc, they seem to end up sleeping on the play mat! How much do yours sleep? Mine are 9 weeks.
Really sorry for long waffly post but any hints and tips with structuring our days would be appreciated! Xx
