Royal jelly?

Have any of you tried this? I just bought some and started taking it, but the woman who checked me out at the market made a comment about how it causes a lot of weight gain - which is NOT what I'm looking for right now! I was really excited at the prospect of all the nutritional/fertility benefits, but I really don't want to gain weight before becoming pregnant as I'm at quite a healthy weight right now. Anyone have experience with this one way or the other?

I've been using it for about 3 cycles; not pregnant yet and haven't put on any weight! In fact, I think I lost 1kg
This might be all in my head but I have felt my ovulation pains have been stronger since taking it..
