Rubbish day :-(

Not preg related but, One of our cats had to be put down as he had a blood clot in his back leg so was found this morning, hyperthermic with both back legs paralysed. It was so sad and i have been really upset this evening. I spent some time with his this evening and he at least looked peaceful. I hate loosing pets, its so hard

Sorry for the unrelated thread, just needed to share with someone as DH isnt home until late this evening. Gona go to bed soon as exhausted. x

Awww hun am soo sorry to hear this ! i know it is horrible loosing pets, i had to have one of my cats put down a few years ago due to his kidney, & have just had to give up my other 2 cats as have moved & they couldnt come with me, i know its not the same as them passing away but will miss them dearly!

Oh gosh, massive to you sweetie! I know how devastated you must be. We had to put our beloved dog down 3 months ago and I still miss him every single day. It is good to know they are at peace, but it's hard to go on w/o them in our lives. Take good care of yourself!

Awww that must be so difficult. I just cannot be without my cats. I will be the mad cat women one day! This clot came out of no where but vet reckons he had a heart problem that may have caused it. He was only 8. Thanks for your reply xxx

Im more of a dog person nowadays although i dont have one yet, but i have grown up with cats & have watched one of them have kittens was lovely so yeh is very sad to not be able to see them again!
Ah right, that is sad but at least he wont be in pain or be uncomfortable anymore

I'm so, so sorry hon. Big hugs. I AM that crazy cat lady now, so I think I can imagine how you feel.

I've lost 2 cats in just over a year (including a 10 month old kitten!). We did everything we could for both cats. I know how hard it is to lose a furry family member.

Glad it was a peaceful and painless passing for him.

I'm sorry hon, I've been there and I know how horrible it all is. I'm glad you got your moments with the kitty though. Lord knows I will have issues when our two go, even though I am allergic!

This makes me very sad :'[ I'm sorry for your loss. It is so very hard, our family cat had to be put down due to a tumour which kept filling with fluid. We couldn't put him through the draining of it every week :[ I was strong enough to be there with Tubby our dog when he had to be put down but it was one of the hardest things ever. I kept his little bit of fur they shaved off his paw and still have it. I hope he is at peace now and I hope he was very old and had a full life. xxxx
