So i went to my docters a few days ago to get Aliyah weighed..
You dont get an appointment time,its 1st come 1st served basis..
It was my 1st time going so wasnt exactly sure how it went as no1 informed me..
Anyway i was no.4 to be seen..The health visitor came out and just said 'Next please'
so i said to the other couple im number 4..is it me or you thats next to be seen..they said 'you' just as they said that the health visitor over spoke them and goes to me
'well if you dont wanna be seen thats fine,come in' to the other couple!
i thought nothing of it..anyway she called me in next and i was polite..she told me to put Aliyah on the scales to be weighed..the said she weights 3.88 kgs so i said oh okay whats that in pounds..she turns around and said 'do the math'!
so by now i got bit annoyed and said no you do the math im asking you a Q as your my health visitor you should be able to help me?
and she was just like no i cant we havnt used pounds since 1977! i said well funny i went to school not long ago and they taught me pounds then she goes er well use a conversion chart! i said yes i willl i was only asking a Q,dont worry your useless by the looks of it!she goes iv never met someone so rude!i said welll iv never come acorss a health visitor like you,all my past ones seem to be more than happy to help and she goes welll cant you see im doing 3 things at once! (when all she was doing was filling in Aliyahs book as to how much she weighed) i was just like you know what,you got it in for me since you saw me in that waiting room..there is a conversion chart in the book your filling in but i guess youv never actually looked through it to know!
then she started talking to a trainee that was in the room going 'oh its 12 o clock we have to be out' as she said that i havnt even half dressed Aliyah by this point and i said erm excuse me but im not rushing no where,iv just walked in,you havnt even looked at Aliyah! and yet your rushing me out the room..no sorry!
then she goes and calls the nurse in to say how much of a rude patient i am!
she then turns around n starts discussing the last patient! she was like oh im so glad shes breast feeding..i mean some mums cant do it and they struggle (hint hint at me)! and ow her husbands found a job and they are a propa family unit so im helping them as much as i can (shes obv presuming im a single mum!) by now im just fuming! like what the hell is up with this women!
she said you have to book in for Aliyahs 6weeks appointment and i said yeh i have she goes when for and i said sorry im doing 3 things at once! coz she really got to me! then i walked out!
anyway i have our 6 week check up with the health visitor this Thurs..i rung the docs to see if its going to be the same one and she doesnt know
i really hope not coz now i feel kinda bad that she might let it out on Aliyah when doig her jabs or something
