Rx to help supply?

I am still unable to produce enough milk for my baby for an entire 24-hour period. I'm eating enough and (hopefully) getting enough rest. For the last 4 weeks I have also been taking the Motherlove More Milk Plus herb supplement. The supplement has made a difference, but has not "fixed" the problem. I am considering asking my doctor about a prescription to help increase my supply and am curious if anyone has done such a thing, what it was you were prescribed, and what sort of difference it made. I'd love to know if it is worth it!

How do you know you aren't producing enough? If you're topping up with formula, your supply will suffer.

Oats can help increase supply and drinking lots of water :)

I haven't actually taken it, but it looks like your only Rx option in the US is Reglan... check this link out: https://www.kellymom.com/health/meds/prescript_galactagogue.html

I know fenugreek helps too, but perhaps that's already in the supplement you're taking?

Yep its fenugreek. Thanks for the link!! Geez, severe depression? Eek. Ooh, and seizures? Awesome.

Well, I do kind of miss the restless leg twitching of pregnancy.....
