SA Results

Hi Girls,

I'm new around here, but have been trying for almost a year since my Ectopic pregnancy.

We're now under the assisted conception department at the hospital, and DH has had SA but not sure that the results are that good as he's been asked to do another test.

Can anyone throw any light on what good results are?

Our results are:
Volume 2.5ml
Count 176.0 x 10.6/ml
Motility 57%
Normal Forms 11%

Its the normal forms which worries me - looks very low.

Would be great to hear from some of you lovely ladies.

i am assuming by normal forms that means morphology? they do regard anything under 15% as low, however there are studies that show the vast majority of men have morphology under that, also they don't consider it to be a massive issue. Also there are things you can do. Hubby's came back as 6% which we were a bit worried about, so I banned hot baths and tight pants, restricted caffeine and alcohol, put him on vit C and zinc and banned his laptop from his lap. He's now gone up to 10% in just a few weeks.
