How long on average does it take for results to get from Lab to GP? I need to make an apt with GP but need to go armed with results or its a waste of a visit.

it depends hun. i got one back the same day by going to the lab and requesting them, but the others we waited on the dr and i think it took almost a week.

At my clinic, they said to call the lab in a week to get the results.

I'd give them a week..if the lab isn't backed up then they have the results back in the same day. That then falls on your gyno's office calling you, which they can be soooo slow about ringing you to come in for the results. Give them a week, then start blowing up their phone!

My DH had his done 2 weeks ago. He asked them about it last week, but they said they didn't have the results in yet

Really Navywife? Usually they're quick at the hospital on base. We got his back in 3 days. I would definitely be calling them!

The clinic on base wouldn't do the SA, so they sent him out to the local hospital. I expected it to take a little longer b/c then the hospital has to get back to the doctor on base, but this is just rediculous. DH forgot to call today. I'm going to keep pressuring him until he does!

Ours (2 of them) came back that day or the next. I think they tested it right away, and within a handful of hours sent the report to the doctor, then the office called us with the report. I'm sorry some of you have had to wait so long for results!!
