Safe antihistamine

I had a pretty bad allergic reaction this past weekend. My whole body is covered in hives and feet are so damn itchy from the hives. Is there a safe antihistamine I can take?
I was just gonna let it pass but I'm going crazy with the itchiness.

I took Piriton (chlorphenirimine) and Cetirizine last week - I was on holiday with a GP friend who assured me they were both fine in pregnancy (I also checked online).

I've only ever taken loratadine I think it is... Claritin. Talk to the pharmacist!!
