can anyone think of different ways of making a salad a bit more exciting but so its still healthy?
and any healthy snacks to? ive been snacking on cucumber and celery with houmous but not sure how healthy the houmous is though lol!
thanks if u have any suggestions x
 
I mix up shredded lettuce, red onion, cherry toms, celery and cucumber with a drizzle of low fat vinaigrette dressing and then add pasta or rice with diced chicken breast or tuna. It is really yummy :)

For low fat snacks i have apples, fat free yogurt, pineapple or a few ryvita with tomato and beetroot and cottage cheese xxx
 
Houmous is fine hun, aslong as you're not using a whole tub in each sitting!
 
lol i probaby could do as its so nice but no only using about a tsp just as a dip,thanku x
 
Salad ideas:

*Add some toasted sesame seeds.
*Add some homemade coleslaw.
*Add some homemade croutons...use wholemeal bread and olive oil.
*Add some grapes.
*Add some toasted chickpeas.

Snack ideas:

*Pear and cottage cheese.
*Nairns stem ginger oatcakes.
*Raisins and nuts (plain nuts, not roasted or salted)

salad is the best thing to remain fit and fine for ever.so eat it more and more everyday.
