I cleaned the entire house (except I didn't vacuum, will probably do that tomorrow).. and then got ALL my laundry done, then my dad and I went grocery shopping and got enough to last us until payday.
It feels SO good to have things clean and organized; you usually have to force me to get up and clean, but lately I've just been doing it on my own.. it makes me realize how much your mind really prepares you before your baby arrives!
oh, and I have an AMAZING story.
I had a dream about a kid I used to go to school with (just something random).. so I looked him up on Facebook, and miraculously found him! so I asked him how he was doing, and gave him my number to text me.. (we rode the bus together in elementary school.. haven't seen or talked to him in over 5 years).
anyways, I told him I was expecting a baby and he congratulated me and thought it was really cool.. he asked for my address to send Jericho a present.
about a week later (yesterday), my dad brought the mail in and there was an envelope with a really sweet card in it.. along with $130! that was the craziest act of (somewhat) random kindness I've ever encountered; seriously, it was the sweetest thing ever!
I live with my dad, who supports me.. and my boyfriend has bought a couple things, but is saving up for an apartment.. so, I haven't bought any baby stuff.. (will probably get a lot at my baby shower, I hope).
but, isn't that just really sweet of somebody to do that you haven't seen in a very long time?
makes me realize that there really ARE good people still out there who care
