Had my first consultant app this morning - have to see one as I have asthma and a heart murmur. Went ok but was quite overwhelming ! There were 4 people in there with hubby and me - consultant, midwife, nurse and a medical student, blimey ! They were all women though so I felt bit more comfortable with that (no offence to men but when you are an anxious person and have all these people in your appointment its a bit scary and I feel more comfortable with pregnancy things talking to women about it if poss ! ). We heard babies heartbeat for first time yay 
Its still a wriggler, wouldnt keep still on both scans Ive had so far and was the same with getting the heartbeat was still fidgetting, its going to be an active baby ! Waiting for my 20 week scan appointment to come through now, its nice getting to all these milestones!
