And I'm driving myself crazy with worry...I had so many scans with the baby I lost to try and work out if the baby was growing that its kinda ruined the excitement for this one that and I'm so scared something will be wrong.

Kinda a pointless thread but there we go.

I completely understand. My last scan I checked in and the nurses were like "Oh oh, why are you frowning?" I was just so upset and worried. All I want is a NORMAL scan and to hear the words "Congratulations your baby is healthy!" I am so moody and upset on my scan days I can hardly concentrate!

MrsEngland my second scan is booked for Monday and I too am a wreck :(

Had an early scan last Saturday as GP wanted to rule out ectopic. As soon as the sonographer started questioning my dates I had a flash back to our missed miscarriage scan and this was exactly what they said  I know from HCG levels that this pregnancy is progressing and Monday' scan is just to double check there has been progress.

I can honestly say that there is no excitement when it comes to the scan just sheer terror that things aren't what they should be :(

You're not alone :(

I have a scan on Monday too, I'm so nervous...

Everyone else in the first tri board gets so excited , but I just cant bring myself to feel that way.

I've had a missed miscarriage where my LO stopped developing @ 7 weeks but I had no idea until a routine scan at 13 weeks......

A missed miscarriage is horrible because you dont even know its happened , I feel like I'm mentally scarred forever.

Wish Monday would hurry up so it can be over with .

Take care :hugs:

Purple I feel your pain as that is what happened to us :flower:

Somehow I felt like such an idiot blabbing on about my symptoms and pregnancy plans when it turned out our little Sprout had already died

Will be thinking of you Monday my sweet :hugs: What time is your appointment? Mine is 8.30am which is great but I have to go straight onto work which may not be so good :(

Thank you Feisty Fidget, mines at 10.20.

I booked the day off on monday just in case of bad news .

I was told that miscarriages occur in about 15-20% of pregnancies , and out of that number only 1% of women will have a missed miscarriage .

Makes it seem like such a small number doesnt it .

Why do we have to be in that unlucky 1%? Why couldnt we have won the lottery instead eh?

My thoughts are with you for Monday x :hugs:.

Let me know how it does .

Thanks girls, had my scan today and everything looks good with baby, i'm sooooo relieved to have seen baby's heartbeat and them wriggling about.

Hope all your scans went well too :flower:

Yay MrsEngland! Thank you for the update. So glad that your scan was happy and all turned out well!
