Scan pics and scan dates, doppler sounds for October bumpkin babies

Just wondering if anyone has had there scan booked yet? mine seams agggeeessss away the 20th April im just really impatient arnt i!! but im just full of wonder and hope at the same time.


If anyone would like to add thier scan pics, doppler sounds, scan dates etc etc to this post then feel free, or even if you just fancy a rant like i do then go ahead xxx

Ill be having a scan on the 29th April at 14 weeks at the specialist I have to see and Im so impatient really wishing away these 3 weeks!!! I have a Dr appt on the 18th for just a check thinking maybe they will listen for a hb but I dont think we will get to hear it and got my 20 week scan on the 6th of June which seems sooo far away!! thats all that Ive got going on my last scan was 9weeks and its my avatar! and I havent been able to find the hb with my doppler yet maybe in the next few weeks

Hi ya,

I went for my first scan and they dated me 11 weeks
Pic 1 below (I was so nervous because it looked as though it had a massive honker... Everyone was trying to reassure me that it wasnt it's nose and it was its hand haha)

The following week I then had another scan to try and do the nuchal scan but the baby was upside down on its head and jumping about the place.... the sonographer asked me to go for a walk & skip to try and turn this little bugger around so she could do the test but no, just like its mum (and dad) it was stubborn and stayed on its head. Couldnt do the nuchal scan so got to have a quadruple test at my 16w MW appointment. Got a 2nd scan tho @ 12w and I LOVE IT. If you look closely you can see it looking at you (2 eye sockets, a long slit hole for a nose and mouth) and its got its fists up like its about to have a fight lol. (see pic 2)

Its natural to feel nervous, honestly I felt so sick and shaky before I had mine - its natural. Dont worry it will all be fine and you'll get to see ur beautiful little baby. Such an amazing experience

Hope this works, this is my baby at 10wk 6 days, Im really disappointed as due to my fresh scar tissue (had a section end of sept) its really grainy xx

This is my pic from our emergency scan on Weds after some bleeding post BD Tues night baby was fine and HB was 171 just like my scan a week ago! lol..clearly it is very reliable already lol ... as you can see it looks like it was either rubbing its eyes or waving at us..I go for my first tri screening/glucose test on April 18th..I'll be exactly 13 weeks then and cant wait!

yeah it was actually the nurse physician and a nurse that did it as the actual scan lady is off on weds but since it was an emergency they did it for me themselves so I wouldnt have to wait a day..they are suuupppperrrr nice there..I am sooo thankful that I was referred to them by my gyno...she was like.."and look theres its hand... its waving at you...its like hi mommy and daddy..im ok in here..." lol...Im kind of high risk in early pregnancy because of previous MCs and PCOS and it was a clomid pregnancy AND Im on prometrium lol...so Ive gotten scans at 5 weeks...6w4d weeks...9 weeks..and then that one at 10w2d...its been soo nice to see the progression...and nice to be able to post the pics for others that arent able to get such early scans so they can see what it looks like in there...

Hi,
I had a scan on 28th March as the doctor wouldn't listen to me when i said i was only 10 weeks at that date, they were convinced i was 12. I went for the scan and guess what.....i was only 10 weeks!

So i am going back on 11th April for the proper 12 week scan!!

It is very exciting to see baby though, so even though at 10 weeks they were small, the baby was waving its arms and legs around and wriggling all over the place!! And there was a good strong heartbeat!

Hi ladies! I'm due October 13th. I have had several early scans during my 5th and 6th weeks. An emergency scan last Monday at 10+4 to check my cervical length and I just had my 12 week scan yesterday morning. Nuchal measurment was great, 1.2. We saw the nasal bone. Baby was jumping around and sucking his or her's thumb. It was so sweet. I have another scan the 28th of this month to check my cervical length and we'll be finding out the sex that day. Kind of a late bday present for me since my bday is the 18th! I'm hoping and feeling GIRL! Then we have the 20 week anatomy scan scheduled for May 26th. Here's a pic from yesterday!

Hey everyone. My name is Sarah. Im due October 14th with baby number 2. DD is 6 months old.

Wow it seems there are a ton of us getting ultrasounds on April 11th. My NT ultrasound is April 11th and my gender/anomalies ultrasound is may 16th!!! Yay!! Cant wait to see baby again. I had an early ultrasound at 8 weeks because i didnt know when my last period was. So ill add a pcitre of my 8 week ultrasound and a video of baby's heart beat on my doppler at home. The ultrasound isnt overly clear. they just did an external because they could get all the measurements that way and didnt need to do the internal.

I had my scan which is my avatar pic. Baby had a strong heartbeat and was jumping around. Im 12 week today and due 14th October. Baby measured 4.9cm which i presume is a good size, got my 20 week scan booked for 27th May

My 1st Trimester scan is also 4/11! I can't wait! Due 10/26/11.

We have had 2 earlier scans so far at 6.1 (dating due to late O) and 7.6 (SCH bleed) and were able to see a little gummy bear with heart beating away! I'm so excited to see how much the baby has grown since then!
