Scan with the specialist

My scan with the specialist at St Mary's hospital is tomorrow but not till 3pm so I have all bloody day to fret about it


I'm worried coz I really don't know what to expect. Will he know what this cyst/growth thing is on my placenta against the cord or will he be just as confused as my consultant and say he's never seen anything like it and hasn't got a clue????

I'm soooooo worried it may compromise the blood flow to Smudge and Smudge will just die without me knowing. They said they'll monitor me regularly but how regular is regular IYKWIM???? Daily, weekly, monthly?


I just wanna relax and enjoy this pregnancy as it's gonna be my last. Smudge is kicking now and everytime I feel it, I worry it's gonna be the last time I feel it


I'm trying to be positive but need to be realistic too. FGS....hurry up 3pm tomorrow and maybe I'll know a bit more by then.

I've already lost Smudges twin as well as two babies shortly after birth and a miscarriage a couple of years ago....I can't lose another one

Have everything crossed for you. Just be honest and ask lots of questions. Might be worth writing some down tonight so when you get there, you remember everything. I tend to sit in front of my doc and forget everything important i wanted to ask.
