Oh my god I had an early scan today due to some spotting at the weekend I was so scared they would find nothing !

But low and behold little bean was there wiggling around and surprise surprise I though I was 11+2 but I am actually 12+2 so a full week ahead, we also heard the heartbeat

today we got to hear our baby's heartbeat too. its such a beautiful sound of life
next week is our gender scan. things are going fast!

That's awesome! Congrats! It's tough not to be nervous especially in the first trimester but I'm glad your scan put your mind at ease!

here in the UK they don't really like doing scan's until 12 weeks unless you have issues its a long time to wait to find out everything is ok I have to admit it makes the 1st tri worrisome and I didn't feel I could really relax being a first time mum x
