Scare story from my local hospital

This week's local rag has got the following story as its front page...

The bit that freaks me out is that this woman "attempted to give 10 times the correct amount of the labour-inducing drug syntocinon to expectant mums."

The problem with medical staff is that they are human and can be stupid at times. I'd have to say though all in all after reading the article I would feel very safe in the hands at that hospital. It sounds like they noticed straight away she wasn't exactly competent and did everything they could to both give her a chance and to protect the mums.

I can not believe the stupid midwife though said the stress and intimidation of the drills caused her to mess up. :dohh:
