Every time I sneeze I'm instantly aware of my tummy and pains.

I just sneezed lying in bed on my side/front and sneezed pretty hard and it felt like I could feel my womb tense up.

I hate feeling so aware of every thing!

I know this us daft but you can't do damage by sneezing right?!?

I am sure there is no harm that can be done by sneezing. Baby is very well protected in there... sneeze away :)

That's the ligaments stretching you feel when sneezing, I know it feels like being stabbed at times!

Yes it's round ligament pain. I get it when I sneeze, cough and blow my nose.

I need to brace my uterus when I sneeze! Totally normal.

Oh so the ligaments around the uterus?
Scares me cuz when it happens I feel like I can feel my whole womb. And it just jumps.

I've felt a bit odd the last few days, might be the stresses of moving (tomorrow we move!). Like I felt less pregnant? Maybe I've just worried about other things and forgot. Apart from nausea sometimes, my symptoms have calmed down. Eg. Breasts don't feel as swollen n sore.

So I'm kind of worrying about every little thing.

But I have my 12 week scan very soon, so hopefully baby is healthy :)

I have the pains too.... scares me, but my doctor said it was ligaments stretching!

Ive had that with every baby and i get it when i cough too. x

Don't worry love, exact same happened to me as soon as I hit nine weeks. At the same time, another poster started a thread on losing symptoms at nine weeks and lots of seemed to have the same thing so it's very common

I've learnt to tense all my muscles before I cough, sneeze, laugh... It'd definitely helps.

Same thing happened to me in early pregnancy hunny, try not to stress. The best thing I found was if I wasn't flat out, i.e I had my legs curled up a bit or I bent over slightly it made the pain muuch less. Try that next time and see if it works for you XX

Try not to worry (easier said than done!), the pain is probably coming from your round ligaments or your muscles rather than your uterus.

I caught the most horrendous cold at 7 weeks and had a bad cough for over a month. It would be this horrific hacking, deep cough, which would make my whole body tense and it would go on for minutes at a time. I was terrified of losing the baby (after my brother wrongly told me a bad cough can cause a miscarriage - he meant well, but he's such a worrier and after asking doctors and extensive net research I found out he was sooooo wrong, a bad cough does not cause a miscarriage!). At times my whole body ached from coughing so much, but my baby was fine through it all!

I hope your pains go away!

x

Yeah I get it every time! When I'm sneezing hard or coughing and even stretching or turning over in bed to quickly and I'm only 4+3 I can feel tightening pains I had the exact same in my other pregnancy with my son from very early on until he was born! Nothing to worry about x

I just sneezed and oh my life the pain! Glad I found this post as I was sooo worried :(

It's round ligament pain I can't hardly sneeze or cough this pregnancy without pain. I sneezed at about 20 weeks with my first pregnancy (son) and peed myself lol
