I'm now 5 weeks and 6 days along..
Hcg levels last week Monday were 330 doubled to 680 by Wednesday but skip forward 6 days and they're only 3529..

Had an early ultrasound and seen sack and yolk only.

So scared this pregnancy isn't viable. Looking for some hope!!

You levels look good! 680x3=2040, so you more than doubled!!

So this is the timeline I get for a 48-hour doubling time:

Monday: 330
Wednesday: 680
Friday: would be 1360
Sunday: would be 2720
Tuesday: would be 5440
Thursday: would be 10,880

HOWEVER, doubling time slows down as the pregnancy progresses so at a certain point you should not use 48 hours to compute doubling. According to this website (https://www.baby2see.com/preconception/hcg.html), above a level of 1200 the doubling time is 72-96 hours, not 48.

Here is the timeline for a 72-hour doubling time after Friday's number (which would be the first number over 1200):

Monday: 330
Wednesday: 680
Friday: would be 1360
Monday: would be 2720
Thursday: would be 5440

So you could be right on track! And also, seeing a sac and yolk at 5w6d is totally normal! For this pregnancy, I had a u/s at 5w5d due to spotting, and the sac was there with a teeny tiny almost invisible yolk. The ultrasound tech was absolutely shocked to see a yolk sac before 6 weeks. So I think your ultrasound results sound right on track too!

Also I put in your 680 and 3529 values into a table at the second link (using dates of 11/11 and 11/17, right?) and got a doubling time of 60.61 hours. That is great doubling time for past 1200 mIU/mL!

I had another blood test today and praying for good news tomorrow.. And I have another scan next week. Fingers crossed for some good news!!

So I got my blood test results from yesterday.. They were 9843!!!

They went up 178% WHOOOOOO!!

I'm hoping this is a good sign of healthy pregnancy

Still very worried as I just don't feel pregnant but I've a little more hope now than earlier in the week!!
