Hi I'm probably panicking for no reason but does anyone know much about scarlet fever and catching it if pregnant? I just picked my youngest up from pre school and there was a sign up saying that they have had 1 case of scarlet fever in pre school. I know it's quite contagious and the sign wasn't up yesterday. I hope Sam doesn't catch it bless him. Thanks in advance x

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/Scarlet-fever/Pages/Introduction.aspx It looks like its very mild and not an issue for pregnant women except at the end of pregnancy (which I think is in case the baby is born with it).

Thank you for the link :flower: I feel much better now after reading that I just hope my LO doesn't catch it as its been one thing after another since he started pre school bless him x

I frantically googled this last week as my toddler had been in contact with it and the only time in pregnancy it's a problem is if you have it when in labour - and most adults are immune anyway.
