Second episiotomy...

If by chance I were to need a second episiotomy, how is it performed? Will it be on the same side as last time? Any info would be great! Xx

sorry i don't know the answer, but with my first i had to have one, and then babies 2-4 the doctor just let me rip. It was so much easier to heal from... I would strongly encourage you to ask your doctor to not give you one, if at all possible

I had one for my first and couldnt sit down for months! So i researched and researched and started taking evening primrose oil by mouth and putting it up inside to dissolve to soften the area. I think i started at 36 weeks and added more and more until the end and no rips no cuts!
