I'm just having a moan, this is my second pregnancy and I've read/heard that you can usually feel baby move sooner in subsequent pregnancies but I'm almost 17 weeks and still not felt a thing. I felt my first when I was in my 16th week so I expected to definitely feel this one by now too. I'm just feeling disappointed as I would love to feel him or her move, this has been such a rotten pregnancy it would cheer me up to feel a movemenet from baby.

Anyone else still waiting to feel baby give you a kick?

with my second pregnancy i felt it the same time as my first which was 20wks, have they mentioned the position of your placenta a lot of ladies on here have an anterior placenta which means it cushions the baby's movements, try not to worry hun, if you get too anxious give your mw a call x x

This is my second and I still haven't felt him kick. I really want to, and in bed I lie with my hand on my tummy hoping he will! My MW said it might be up to 20 weeks so I'll just have to keep waiting! x

I'm not getting my hopes up to feel this one as soon as I felt DS (14weeks) as I know I was very very lucky. I wouldn't worry hun, I think it's only said as you know what it feels like when LO moves xx

It was about 20weeks for me this time. Id been expecting it much earlier, felt strong kicks from Poppy by 18 weeks. I have an anterior placenta though so that is probably why although in the last week or so I have felt loads of movement which has been fab Hang in there, it'll happen soon enough xx

This is my second and to be honest I only just start regular movement now, almost 23 weeks.

At almost 20 weeks I felt little flutterings but not so much and certainly not from really early.

It also has to do with how the baby and placenta is lying, so don't worry.

I felt DD at around 20wks and this one at about the same..... don't worry hun, you know from last time that once it starts it can be pretty full on, so try and be patient it'll happen soon....:flower:

Thanks for your replies, I'm just getting impatient I think lol. I didn't think about it maybe being the position of baby and placenta, of course it could be doh! lol I don't have my 20 week scan until 20th April so I've got a few weeks to wait yet until I find out where baby is laying and the placenta. I know at my last antenatal appointment they had to scan me to see the heartbeat as they couldn't hear it because baby was laying too far down so I guess this could also be a reason but I don't know why I didn't stop to think of that doh lol.
I just can't wait to feel him or her move! I'll learn to be patient at least until I have my 20 week scan and find out where baby is laying. Thanks again ladies x

I haven't felt anything either although on a few occasions I have felt a knocking sensation or popping sensation just below my belly button, about an inch below it. Is this too high to be LO? x

I'm on my 3rd pregnancy and I am 16 weeks 5 days and haven't felt anything either...boo! I can't wait, it's driving me nuts! You seem way more patient than I have been. Some days, a little kick here or there would would do wonders for my mood. Also, I have posterior placenta so, I can't even blame it on have it on anterior placenta. Hang in there, you are not alone!!
