Hi ladies!

Well I'm booked in to have my implanon removed in TWO DAYS after having it in for just over a year.

My partner and I are ready to ttc our final and third child! My eldest has just turned 3, and my youngest is 1yr 5mths!

I have two little girls so I'm hoping my third is a boy, but either way I'll be extremely happy.

Are any of you ladies TTC after getting the implanon removed recently?

I've heard so many stories of women falling pregnant within the first few months after removal but I won't hold my breath...

I joined BaB when I was trying for my first daughter but now I'm back and here to stay and I'm looking forward to sharing the TTC journey with all of you!

Implanon is out as of an hour ago! I am OFFICIALLY ttc!

Upon removal however there was a small issue and it sucked! They took it out but there was a painful lump in my arm so they took it out too and gave me butterfly stitches and I have to keep my bandage on for a week rather than the usual 2-3 days. There was what looked to be quite a lot of blood running out of my arm after they took the implanon and lump out. :/ It took forever to stop! Not sure if after I conceive #3 that I want to go back on the implanon. (It was sore and causing trouble for the last 5-6 months I had it in for anyway which was odd but due to the lump they found.)

Oh well, it's all good now - I am officially unprotected from pregnancy and keen to be a mum of THREE!
