My little guy is almost 21 weeks and has been in his own room from 18 weeks. It was mostly because he didn't fit in his basket anymore. So even if I wanted him back with us, he wouldn't fit lol.

So it's been nearly 3 weeks, I know we won't be having another baby (if we do it will be in years and years) so is it acceptable to now sell his basket?

I feel guilty selling it...like I'm getting rid of his baby memories. I feel sad as I remember this tiny tiny little baby lying in it and he isn't my baby anymore. I love looking at it...its still beside my bed. It just feels wrong somehow but we really need the money.

So...is it too soon? How long did you leave it before getting rid/selling yours? Did you feel this guilt and sadness?

OH sold our swinging cradle to his work friend last week, I was gutted :( but we don't have room now as his big cot is in with us now (at my mums still til our mortgage gets sorted)

Think of the extra pennies though!

I keep certain clothes eat and I've kept the swinging crib to pass down but I sold Moses baskets etc. :)

I got rid of mine when she was like 3 months old it was sitting in her room collecting dust basically... we co slept until she was like 5 months and then she just went straight to her crib in her own room!

I didn't feel to guilty because she never ever slept in it once!
