Sending birth certificate off when claiming benefits?

Hello,

Just wondering if someone can confirm I don't have to send LO's birth certificate in when sending the child tax credits form in?

I know you do when you claim child benefit, but you dont for child tax credits do you?

I now realise why I've put them both off for so long, I'm completely confuzzled now

No, you don't need to send BC for tax credits x
