Hi all, Thanks just popping quickly, been to dr's & the result is the same as the 1st one :nope: the pain is due to my bladder been inflamed he thinks but not sure why it is? or why blood is presant? (it's never happened before) got some meds as a last resort to try for the next 2weeks fx'd things get better or the next step is the camera you can guess where :nope:

Emzy - All the bonking made me laugh !! I really hope it is your turn next and Teeny's aswell. xx And owwwie on the thrush - Olivia had oral thrush and it was bloody horrid. xx

Jelly - Poor JJ bumping his head - Its so hard when your not there as you always blame yourself. Olivia has fallen over quite alot and I always think god I am not watching her enough but I really do. xx I hope you get abit more help with the household stuff and JJ soon. Its hard doing everything and you will exhaust yourself. I always have to ask my OH for any help as he seems to think I enjoy doing EVRYTHING !!!

Kara - Sorry to hear about Jake. I hate bullies - I really do. Kids have to go through so much these days as it is without all the added pressure of trying to do the right thing and fitting in. Hope hes not too upset about it. xx Re: Olivias walking she was walking just before 9 months and I would say the last 6 weeks is where she got complete confidence in herself. xx

GG - U ok hun ? You know you can lean on us for support anytime I hope. xx

FB - Have a fab time in Cyprus - Im very jealous your jetting off just as the weather is starting to turn cold ! Perfect. xx

Daisy - How did you get on at the Dr's ? xx

As for me - We will definately be finding out the sex. We only have a 2 bed house but both bedrooms are huge so we will need to do some work if it is a boy. We really dont want to move as our rent is soooo cheap and trying to rent somewhere when you have a dog is a nightmare. I'm so excited as only 4 sleeps now - I promise to post a scan pic for you all. xxxx

Hiya ladies!!!!

Laura - Good luck for your scan tomorrow :)

Daisy - Hope the meds help and they find out whats going on!!!

BTP - My step-dad used to treat us differently from his other kids.... but my dad put a stop to it with a few stern words to both my mum and step-dad and he was alot better!

GG - Hope everything is okay :hugs:

Emzy - I can see a BFP soon for you :) FX'd

Kara - I hope Jake isn't too upset by the bullies..... I hate bullies.... used to wind me up at school seeing someone get bullied that I always stepped in... (usually me getting into trouble in the end coz I wasnt always the best at keeping a cool head)

Soooooo...................

I had my scan and consultant today.

Scan shows a healthy happy baby, heartrate of 151bpm, head down... with a possible weight of 7lb 5oz (expecting another 9lb baby)

Consultant was brilliant and was ADAMENT that I can do a VBAC so after a bit of information and a bit of reassurance, thats what we have decided to do!!!

Obviously, there is a few rules for this labour...

1) I need to go in as soon as my contractions are regular enough as I need to be monitored.

2) I will have to be monitored the WHOLE labour (although this one I may try and get round a little bit as I want to stay as active as possible!)

3) If I dont dilate at least 1cm an hour, they will stop and give me a c-section there and then as they dont want me to have a long labour!

4) If I don't go into labour naturally by 10 days overdue, I will go in and they will check to see if my cervix is open....if it is, he will break my waters and start the drip to set me into labour....but he will not use pessarys...if it isnt open, then I will have a c-section!!!

He also said (which swung me towards a normal delivery) that he has been in this job over 20 years and he has NEVER seen a scar rupture during a VBAC and he has seen over 75% of the women he has put for a VBAC actually have a natural delivery!!!

Now, I just have to wait!!! Come monday, I will be 37 weeks and I will be doing everything in my power to induce labour naturally as I REALLY want to go natural :)

Hope everyone is okay!!!!

xx

Good morning girls!
In the middle of a mad housecleaning frenzy. I have a hair appointment this afternoon, then my mum arrives for Tobe's birthday weekend, so I have this small window of opportunity to get the house ship-shape before all the craziness starts.
And my husband was a love and took the boys off to playgroup so I could get it all done.
Got the laundry in, the dishes ready to go by the sink, and realized that I hadn't had a cup of coffee this morning!!
Dear gods of housecleaning!!! How was I thinking I would get even halfway through my list of chores without some javajava?
:coffee:
That is now sorted out and am taking five to actually drink it - not just pour it and let it go cold! :)

LauraK - just a thought - do you really need to go to the trouble of finding a new place or putting in a new room if baby is a boy? I shared a room with my little brothers until I was 7 and we were fine.
Maybe it's a pressure that you don't need to worry about for awhile?
Personally, I don't think they really know they are much different from each other until they are much older! :)
Simon understands boys and girls as girls having "'chinas' and milk in their nipples but boys don't have dat".

I know what you mean about holding on to a good spot, though. I feel the same about our place. The housing market is an overpriced joke in this city. We've had a great rental situation for several years and it has let us save loads of money. I don't really want to move. But the clock will start ticking for something just one room larger if/when third baby gets here and hits toddler age. So we've got a couple of years. Prices are falling here, so maybe by then a house will be a reasonable thing to consider. Meanwhile, I don't want to budge from this great find! Super cheap rent in one of the best neighbourhoods? Woohoo! We're staying!

gg - sounds like you need :hugs: Hope your bad news gets better, as well as baby.

Amy - :hugs: So pleased and excited for you! Sending every blessing for a healthy, happy pregnancy, lady! :hugs:

Aw crap. Forgot everything else and finished the coffee. Back to being Cinderella..... scullery maid version.

YM - yay! Just read your post and think you made a great, informed decision! Sounds like your consultant is excellent, as well. Got my fingers crossed for you that you get the birth you want! :)

btp - meant to say - I find it quite shocking that your husband shows favouritism to his own biological kids. Seriously? That's incredibly immature and could be very damaging emotionally to all of your children. What the hell is he thinking?
I don't know how you put up with the unbalanced workload with him, sweetpea. I'd have ripped him a new one a while ago, the way he treats you. :growlmad: But I'm a little punchy that way  :haha:

My week off work is over... im so depressed...My mother in law is having to come and babysit tomorrow morning, it will be the first for her so hope Paige behaves herself, Paige is going through a tantrum stage at the moment

YM- yay..... thats really good news hon x

Laura- We live in a two bed house and i have Jake 13 years old and Paige, we are putting up a partition wall to make two smaller rooms but if we have another we have the same problem. We could squeeze another cot in one of the small room. I have decided that even if we have a boy we can put them in the same room for a few years, ...If you have a big room could you not put a partition wall up ? share a window like what im doing ? We love where we live and so we are thinking we would rather be a bit cramped upstairs bedroom wise than move house.x

YM that's excellent news ! Glad you finally came to a decision you are 100% happy with. The plan looks very well organised too ....... YAY !!!

Laura when we have a second they will be sharing a room fir a few years until we can afford to move. A friend gas her 5 year old son share with her 2 year old daughter, they get on great . Good luck for your scan I can't wait to find out edd.

Had a lovely day today, been to gym for couple of hours, friend came round with her 4 month old giggling together and JJ kissing him. Then mum was able to pop over as sister was looking after dad. Going back to work has really made me appreciate my time with JJ today.

Lady k - how's Jake feeling now ? Any more issues with the bully's :hugs:

I had such a great day today.
Got all (well, most) of the house chores done, had a lovely afternoon at the salon and am quite pleased with some pretty new highlights and a fun, swingy little bob. And I got some new make-up (had to finally replace the stuff I bought for my wedding in 2007 - I made it last! It was under eye concealer and pressed powder - hopefully not too unhygienic to stretch it over four years! :haha: ). I was very very good and did not allow myself to be seduced by the most beautiful new eye shadow palette. It's Bobbi Brown, so excellent quality, but so so pricey. On the other hand, if I stretch it our for four years again, is it justifiable?
Says the woman whose parental benefits run out in two weeks....
Anyway, it was very fun to poke around a make up counter and hang out at a salon reading junky magazines all afternoon! :)

And my maman is here and has brought the boys all sorts of beautiful little handmade things and a ridiculous amount of gorgeous stuff for Tobe's birthday. She is such a sweet and doting grammy! Can't help but think back to the lifesaver she was this time last year. I was on modified bedrest and freaking out how to care for Simon until the induction and she took holidays and came down to save the day. Love her so!
I promise to take and post a picture of Tobe in his new crazy bumblebee pants that Grammy made him. They are absolutely wild and very stylish. Tobe likes to be on the cutting edge of fashion, you see.
And she brought a whole host of little felt animals for the birthday barn. You will get pics of that, too!
Which reminds me that photo editing is my next huge task. It's getting pretty epic in the photo library. Long overdue for editing and posting and printing. Must get on that soon.
Okay, busy birthday weekend coming up!
Have a great one, everyone!

GG I hope everything is ok?

YM that's great news!

Sorry just a quick one as stupidly busy with Harry's party tomorrow and family staying over. Will update properly soon with pics, x

How was Harry's birthday? Was he ok for it?

Just a reminder ladies, the tv programme I mentioned to you a week or so ago, the bomb squad, is on tuedsday on bbc1 at 10.35 pm :) I'm not sure if Wayne will be on this one or next weeks one or even if he'll be on hardly at all but we shall see!

Working all weekend so have not had time to update myself with new posts

but needed to know if anyone found anything which helped the teething, we are having screaming fits every hour, iv had no sleep and Grant doesnt wake up.. teeth 1 and 2 no problem didnt even effect her but these two top ones are causing her so much pain.

My small quite 1st birthday party for Paige has turned into a bit bigger... I started inviting some of the girls from baby group, some other of my friends who had babies and it seems every family member is also coming. Im having it at my mums house as i dont think ill have room at mine. I am getting some ball pits and tubes from the toy library.. food from costco and decoration... cbeebies on the tv... is there anything else i should do ?

Happy birthday Harry !!

Thanks Louise. He was unfortunately still poorly but armed with calpol we braved the zoo! He had a great time but there were a few 'moments'. Hopefully he will be on form for his party today though. X

Aww fishy poor harry...hope he has a lovely party! X x

James isnt well either been hot and grumpy think its teeth but i tested his urine and there is infection so could be both but who knows with these little stars! X x

although he has just been taught urghhh by daddy and he is now sitting shouting it at daddy laughing! Lil toad him x x

kara i find ibuprofen better than paracetamol for teething as its an anti-inflammatory x x

You can alternate paracetamol and ibuprofen every 2 hours if you need to, they work well together on stronger pains like bad fevers and teething:hugs:

I am fed up today, have chorus of 'Mummy Sophie won't let me do this' Mummy, Emmie won't let me do this' Mummy, Mummy, Mummy, Mummy......' And its driving me bokers:wacko:

I have done :laundry:, :dishes::hangwashing: which i have done a few times because of the rain!!
I have done the weekly shop, made breakfast, cleared breakfast, for which i had to call my dh down as he wanted his in bed, where he has stayed ALL DAY! :hissy:
He does get on my nerves big time, his behaviour with the children, but i married him, although it could be argued he was not like this then, he has changed but most since the girls came along, i think my biggest problem is there is no get out clause in the marriage if a dh changes out of recognition, he actually said to me one day when we were walking down the street and saw a biggish lady, 'if you get that big i will leave you' Never mind he is 3 stone heavier+ now, and sits on his arse all day!

So proud of Rosie, she is walking most places now, and looks so cute! I took her to be measured for her feet and she is a 2 and a half, but at the time (last week!!) she was still not walking, mainly coasting, so the woman said she wouldn't bother with shoes until she needs them, so i left it! I have some 3.5's from Sophie, but may get her some so she can walk about at her party.

Roast dinner in the oven, a stuffed chicken, although diet means boiled potatoes not roast, boo!

Big hugs to all, sorry not very good catch up, I am struggling atm, with everything, the house seems to be a never ending task of washing, ironing, cooking, cleaning, tidying, clearing etc! Rosie is just not settling at night, and is up so frequently i am just not getting any sleep, and where i could leave her downstairs during daytime for a few hours with dh and the others so i could catch a few hours sleep, he is in bed all day so i don't get a chance to do that, I wouldnt mind if he was ill and needed bed.:growlmad:

Time to go all, bye for now xx:hugs:

oh Btp you poor thing you sound like your run ragged! My df work til 8pm the other night and tried to play the 'come on be fair' card when i asked what he wanted for tea and didnt jump straight up and make it! I quickly pointed out that id been up in the night then done a full day at work so was just as tired and done longer hours technically than he had! At which point he shut up! X

BTP- huge hug honey.... you must be shattered.... you will be surprised how men quickly change when they think they could lose you, im not saying leave him but sometimes men dont need to feel so secure, they get too relaxed, women are guilty of this too but i find men are worse. Im totally feeling your lack of sleep, an hour and half i got last night, i ended up sleeping on the sofa as grant wouldnt wake up and paige was screaming every hour !!! i had work at 8 !!! came home and did the housework and i bet ill have to do it all over again tonight..

Shit its started already..... its going to be a long few days
