setting up his room

when should i really start setting things upp?! his bedding set comes today and i am sooo tempted to just finish my room!! should i wait until after i come back from vacation at the end of february though?? ughh ladies what would you do?!

I do it, we went out today and got the girls matching bedding as soon as we have the second cot here i'll put the bedding in both the beds. Even though baby girl will be in with us for the first few months.

yeah i am def starting today!! haha eric gave me the go ahead to do it without him as long as i save putting the bigger things together with him =]

I keep planning to do Averys room every weekend but then the weekend comes and I open the door and see the huge piles of things and boxes with hand me downs and NOW the chewed up blinds from my dog (he jumped out the window ) and I just close it again. I think once my brother does the painting I'll get in the swing of things but for him to do the painting I'm definitely going to have to clear some things out.

I don't get it because I've started nesting everywhere else in the apartment. Everything is sooo organized, every closet, every drawer, every cupboard, the fridge ect. but I just can not bring myself to begin sorting out the mess that is babies room. Any time I get anything for her or I get a present for her or OH brings home things the nurses at his work have given him it just gets added to the piles in there

Sooo overwhelming! So as soon as you get an urg just jump on it ahaha

I put the cot together about a week ago cause I wanted to leave something till the end to do.
I've just washed all the bedding (another reason for leaving it near the end, lovely fresh, clean smelling bedding!), and will put that on again tomorrow

Don't do everything too early because you'll have nothing to do at the end (well maybe apart from a load of washing ).

I still havent put the cot together.
It makes me nervous just seeing the box let alone having it set up, i'll probably freak out if its all up.
I have not even got my pram yet (even though it was ment to be delivered two weeks ago!!!, but that's another story) Its arriving tomorrow though. And i have just started to wash everything. I was going to wash them as i went along but couldnt stand the thought of them just gathering dust in the wardrobe

I started at around 38/39 weeks, but I have no idea why, she's never in it
Even when I moved, she has her room all set up all over again, but she's in with me, I only ever go to her room to get her clothes
