We had a big scare Friday! I had a gush of blood at work and it was a mix of bright red and dark red. I ran to the dr and they did a scan and the baby was as happy as can be jumping around. They concluded that it was from sex the night before. My question is, for those that have experienced bleeding after sex, how long did it last? Two days later I'm still spotting brown when I wipe. I'm stressed.

Normally it doesnt last long. What i suggest is just doing sex gently as the cervix is easily irritated and thats what causes the bleeding. Try not doing things that give the deep penetration. If you do it slow and easy you should be fine.

I had spotting for 2-3 days after 
with DH. I would refrain until the bleeding stops and I agree with orionfox... take things slow and easy. I learned my lesson
