I have my first scan this Wednesday.....I'll be 13 weeks.... Curious to see everyones scans... what should i expect to see? Can they predict gender at this point?

I was wondering about the gender! I have my scan at 2:30pm and I am either 13+1 or 13+2 I will let you know when I get back

With my DS my first scan was 14+4 and they mentioned nothing about gender but I didn't ask so maybe if I had they might have been able to see. I think 13 weeks is a bit early though as bits can still be swollen so it's easier for mistakes to be made now rather than in a few more weeks when it's more obvious

I had my scan yesterday. I should have been 12 weeks exactly based on day of conception (IVF pregnancy) but bubs was measuring at 12+4.

I think it's too early to get an indication of the baby's sex at this point but we're going to pay for a private scan at 16 weeks to find out x

Here is my 13w 1d scan! I saw the nub when she was showing us baby's legs and I said its a girl and she just smiled!

I think I read somewhere you can't really tell until 20 weeks via sonogram, but I also could just be making that up. I make a lot of things up. I also have zero idea what I am talking about because I'm a FTM hahaha

I have my next US at 12w6d and the clinic does 3D/4D (which they also did at 8w3d) and both my doc and the ultrasound tech said if I came back in closer to 13 weeks he could tell me sex. We'll see...
