Hi guys!

Am a newbie here and feel the need to document/share my journey amongst women in the same boat! So please excuse me as my nerves propel me to write this long post!

Was diagnosed with PCOS a few months ago. Started on metformins to try and regulate my cycles - didn't work. Two weeks ago doc put me on clomid to induce ovulation. After a week I successfully grew a follicle so got the hcg trigger last week and am now roughly 8 dpo and praying!

I know it sounds crazy but I have had sypmtoms since 3dpo...half the time am hopeful and excited and the other half am worried that I am having a hysterical pregnancy!!! :grr:

3dpo I started getting twinges in my stomach every now and then, headaches, extremly tired and flu like symptoms which I thought nothing of at first until I read on other forums that other women with BFP's experienced this also.

So the symptoms have continued. Have been waking up too early the last two days and not able to get back to sleep - can't stop thinking about a possible BFP!

Last night I felt a bit dizzy/light headed and this morning woke up with tender nipples that seemed extra "perky" and my breasts felt heavy. Nearly an hour later the weird nipple sensation has gone so maybe it was in my head??

I'm over thinking it aren't I?
I don't know how I'm going to survive waiting for another week til I can test!!!!

What's your journey so far?
:flower:

Hey sweety!
It's hard not to overthink something we want to bad. It's exciting you have symptoms. :)
sounds promising! I'm 6dpo. 9 months ttc. Tried soy this cycle :) let's hope it did the trick... Lots of baby dust

Baby dust to you too!! :)

What's soy, have not heard of it??

It's for if your cycles are irregular
like I have regular periods but I ovulate too late for a baby to implant. So it's hard to concieve. I did took soy isoflavones pills (natural-work like chlomid)
and it brought my ovulation date ten days sooner!

that's fantastic! hopefully we will both have :bfp: 's next week or so! :)

Hi Cjm and welcome. Im quite new too

I also have PCOS ive had it since I was 15, it sucks lol.

Been TTC for two years, no bfp and only 5 periods in two years. Going to see a fertility specialist soon,as metformin isnt working.

Your symptoms seem good, when are you testing? x

Hi Chan221!

I was on the mets for 9 months and went straight to the specialist after that since I only had 3 periods on them. I was put on clomid straight away and ovulated within two weeks!! So I think you should def take the next step...I hope the same happens for you!

I test on 23/11. I fi'm not PG I should expect the :witch: this fri/sat. I hope she stays away!!

Hi

I'm new here as well. Me and my husband are just trying to conceive - our first month. I'm peeing on OPK sticks every day - I'm CD12, and I peed on two sticks today, couldn't help myself - still no egg yet!
I am so glad that I found this forum with like-minded people, I don't feel so obsessive on my own.

Last month I wrote down a list of symptoms of PMS, as every single month I feel like our BC has failed and that I am pregnant - I feel hungry, tired, bloated, sore BBs, etc etc. So hopefully when I am on the TWW I can just put these down to my PMS and not get too excited/confused!

I am really looking forward to this TTC journey, I am so excited, nervous and bloody impatient already!!

Good luck to you!

Hi Mardy and welcome :)

Yes, this forum is fantastic. I don't want to talk to my family about all this as I'd rather suprise them with happy news and I think I'm driving my best friend crazy with my obsessiveness lately!!

This is my first official TWW with timed BD - I'm sooo excited and nervous too! Part of me is so hopeful that I am PG right now and the other part doesn't think it could happen this soon....

That's such a good idea with the PMS tracker...unfortunately that's not something that I could have done tho because of my PCOS diagnosis and before that I was on the contraceptive pill for years so they were 'artificial' periods so I dont know if my PM symptoms would be the same or not...the thing is tho some people have said that their pregnancy and pre mens symptoms have been pretty much the same!

lots of baby dust to you! :flower:
