Sharp pain in right ovary

Yesterday morning I had a sharp stabbing pain in my righ ovary
At first I thought it may be appendicitis or a cyst but the pain went after having a nap

I went to the toilet and when i wiped there was abit of blood. Went to the doctors and they said it could just be my period as I haven't been on in 6 weeks. (I'm on the implant).

She said if it gets worse then to go back

It's worse today but also have bleeding with it. Not sure if it's my period or if i should phone 111 incase its a cyst

Any help would be great thank you!

It may well be your period coming . I would keep an eye on it and if it gets worse throughout the day definitely give them a call especially if it’s an unusual period also . I’ve no real advice sorry !
