sharp pain left hand side of bump

Hi ladies, hoping you can help put my mind at rest... I'm 29 weeks and for the past 10 days have been getting a sharp stitch like pain on the left side of my bump. It comes and goes and usually doesn't last too long but it kept me awake for a couple of hours last night and the reason I'm up so early now! It has gone off now though. I had to go to hospital last week cos baby had gone quiet (everything was fine, she was just having a quiet day) and I mentioned the pain to the midwife then and she quickly shrugged it off as ligament pain so I haven't thought too much about it but now because it was so bad last night I'm starting to worry a bit about it but don't want to keep bothering the midwife! Has anyone else had pains like this?

I have, again ligament pain x hope you feel better. She said our bodies are doing so much stretching its often uncomfortable x

I've had all sorts of aches & pains throughout this pregnancy and I wouldn't think that one was too serious. I even had contractions at 12 weeks!!! It really does sound like ligament pain to be honest. Or it could be sciatica? x

Thanks for your replies ladies, think i will just put it down to ligament pain then. This is my first and i'm starting to worry about everything....So its nice to be reassured! x

I had same at about 30 weeks hun. It was really sharp and lasted a week. Obv nothing to worry about tho as it went on it's own x
