she suddenly hates going in the pram & car

My little girl is 3 months old, and up until a week or so ago would always without fail go in her carseat and the pram quite happily, and have a good nap. Now for the past week or so she cries every time we go out in the car and pram, so much so that we have to stop and pick her up and cuddle her, as she gets so worked up. Has anyone else had that problem? What could I do to remedy this? I don't want to be confined to the house now

We went throught his with Ethan, not so much in the car but definatly the pram. Is you LO in a carrycot in the pram? What we did was sit Ethan up abit in the seat unit so he could see out and about but was still facing us, I know its not recommended until 6 months but he was able to sit up really well, also we would bring some toys along for distraction just for him to hold on to. For us it passed in a couple of weeks

she's in the carseat bit of the travel system, but I have tried the pushchair part, as it lies down flat and with that it's even worse, she just screams and screams ..not sure what to do now. will try some toys and maybe sit her upright a bit more. she has good head control

we went through is for 3 months between 3 and 6 months old,

i was sickend at the thought of going anywhere in the car or putting him in the buggy, i tried toys and sitting him up nothing worked, he used to scream like he was really hurt and i was like a mad woman trying to get home as quick as possible

he out grew it in the end on his own, but i feel for you it was horrible

i hope it dont last long for you maybe sitting her up a little will help

My lo hates going in her pushchair. We turned it from pram to pushchair at 5 weeks as she seemed to hate lying on her back but it turns out she also hates being in the pushchair too. We've been trying her imd it on ame off since then but shes nndt having any of it. So we bought a carrier and she loves it and even falls asleep in it. It hurts my shoulders though x

My LO was murder once he hit around 2.5 months he would scream in the carseat but the car would send him to sleep so that was ok lol but we had him in the carseat in the travel system. My pushchair was from birth and had a head hugger and i had him in there from around 3 months and he loved it and hardly ever moans and is busy looking around at everything

oh dear, I really hope it won't last as long as up to 6 months I feel sick every time I want to go out now as everyone looks at me as though I'm an evil mum for letting my baby cry, but I can hardly carry her everywhere. I might explore the idea of a baby carrier. That might help.

If your LO has good head control couldnt you try sitting her up in the pushchair? My LO sat up in his from about 3 months, it was on the inbetween setting, not sitting bolt upright but not lying down flat

Ruby was the same at this age. She was fine by about 4.5 months I think. She has never particularly loved pushchairs full stop though...

My lo hated the pram from day 1 and still hates the car seat now at 5 1/2 months! Not too bad in his pushchair now. Baby bjorn carrier by far the best item we've bought, loves facing out and being nosey! Facing in, asleep within 5/10 minutes! Just bought fleecy cover for it so we can use it in bad weather!

my lo hates the car seat but does fall asleep though :doh: after 10 mins of crying lol. she wont sit in the car seat thing on the buggy, has to be the pram part but only if shes sitting up a bit, (not fully up). no way will she "allow" me to lie her flat unless shes asleep or she will scream, shes too nosey
