We have a really good schedule for Charlotte. 7-8am wake up and eat breakfast, get dressed, play. 1030-1045ish eat lunch, change 11am-2pm NAP 2pm-6pm play, drive, etc 6-630ish dinner 730pm bath, get dressed, night routine 8-830pm bed time. She NEVER gives me issues with this schedule, day in and day out. NEVER. DH is home this week and working nights and she will NOT take a nap with him in the house. Even on weekends she won't go down for one if he's here! I do the routine, I put her down so it's not any different....she just won't go, no matter how tired she is! I don't understand WHY!?
She may just be changing her routine naturally. Maybe she doesnt need as long a sleep now in the day? I think a lot of babies go for 1 nap after lunch as they get towards 1yr. Maybe put lunch back a bit to 11.30 - 12.0 and see if she'll nap after a bit of a play around 1 or 2? She's probably just becoming a little grown up lady! Aww! Funny how she seems to react to your OH being around, not sure what to suggest about that - he doesnt wear strong aftershave does he?!!!!
She could just be naturally changing as Loz75 suggests. She could also just be curious about OH being around and wants to spend time checking him out hehehe.... However, I think it could be she just is finding she's not as tired as she's getting older... as well...
That's the weird thing...I thought maybe she was just getting older too, but if he's not here she'll go right down, no issue. If he's here...she won't.
Its all the excitment of having daddy home mY son is the same he dose not want to miss out on naps lol so now my OH naps with him lol
Jasmine is the same, on the weekends when my OH isnt working she gets all messed up. He works nights too.
Thats really sweet! Doesn't want to miss a second of daddy time! Jasper sometimes wont go to bed until daddy gets home and they have cuddles and play time.
