Shocked- natural BFP

I just needed to tell someone and we haven't told anyone yet about the BFP.

We've been TTC for 3.5 years and there are all sorts going on between both of us. I've had endometrial ablation, fibroids (different sizes and locations and inter/intra mural) and low prog levels. OH has a lot of abnormal sperm and a sperm count that got lower each time we did a test.

We saw 2 specialists and both recommended IVF with ICSI. This was the last month for us and I was going to book for a baseline scan at a clinic we chose.

But my period never came and I'm now 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I wake up every morning and am so happy that I have the usual symptoms. Just to help others that even 1 in 10 million, it's possible to actually get pregnant!! My first one ever. Now desperately hoping it sticks and nothing else happens.

Congrats hun! I tried the same amount as you and after my surgery in June they told me IVF was our only real hope that it would be a miracle if I conceived naturally, well I got my miracle 5 months later when those two lines popped up positive, I bawled my eyes out this time for a good reason!

Congratulations! Our stories are very similar, we tried for 4 yrs exactly - he has low sperm morphology and I didn't always ovulate. We had just been for our IVF with ICSI intro and found out I was 6 weeks pregnant already!
Im 7+4 today and had a reassurance scan this morning, all is looking great so far
