Just had my blood results for chlomidia and if says I have the antibodies to show that I once had it. Well that's news to me!! When I was younger I used to get regular checks and never once dud I have it. I'm so annoyed. I've never been treated for it. I've been with my husband 5 years and last time I got checked was when we got together. Is that possible to have had it and to have gone away on it's own ?? I'm worried now thinking how long dud I have it and has it done damage. I've had a scan a couple of months ago as Part of my fertility testing and that was fine. Do you think they will now offer me a hsg?? I really hope so. How ling is the waiting list for something like that?
Any info appreciated x

I've no idea, didnt want to read and run, our problem is male related and they won't do any tests on me until hes been fully checked first also depends on the waiting lists in your area for a HSG x

hey hun, i went private for my hsg so it was pretty quick, are you using nhs for your tests?

Have you tried googling chlomidia? read up on what others have said?xx

Yeah Im reaaly shocked and upset about it as like ive said ive been checked all my younger life and ive never tested positive. I used to have cervical issues with abnormal cells so i was checked alot. My husband as 10% morphology also so im think if i have an issue and he does its gona be a long road!!!! I think I might go private if the list is long. Ive waited along time already for this baby ao Im doing all I can to speed things up now.

I haven't got it now but supposedly had it at dome point. I'm so peed of with it!!

Sorry I can't help, but I would also be horrified if I had news like that. I'm guessing that if it cleared up by itself, it probably didn't hang around long enough to do any damage. I'm assuming that they have also tested your DH just to make sure otherwise it could still be causing him damage.

I would try not to worry, but maybe contact a doctor or family planning nurse for advice?

you will be given a HSG by the nhs although you will have to wait... I waitied about 6 weeks for mine it wasn't too long, it depends on where you live. Its not too expensive to go private it was around 300-400 I think when I looked in to it.

10% morphology is fine, new guidlines say it should be 4%

I don't think you can have blocked tubes if you've had a misscarriage, if both tubes are fully blocked there is no way you would have ever fallen pregnant before ,the sperm simply can not get to the eggs in women with blocked tubes.

chin up hun, i have had days like this where i feel so worried and hopeless too, but there is hope Good luck x

Hey hon, sorry if it's a dumb question but how do you know you still don't have it? As far as I was aware it wouldn't go away unless it was treated.

If you still have it I suspect that the hospital will want you and OH to have it treated with a short course of antibiotics before they proceed.

The test was done as part of a fertility test and the doctor told me that that the results showed negative to having it but showed that I have had it some time in my life. It def hasn't been in the last 5 years as both me and my husband got checked when we got together as any sensible couple would before they embarked on a sexual relationship. Anyway I def don't have it now so it must have been years and years ago. Still so gutted. I've always had checks and never a positive result so how possible ay ?
It's bothering more then my hubby having 10% morphology. I'm 31 next month and always thought I've lived an STD free life. I just don't get it.

Just read my first instalment to this thread and it sounds like I've been to get checked for an STD. It was part of the tests I had to go at the doctors by the doctor to see why we're having issues conceiving. I'm a wee bit embarrassed about it To be honest on how it's came across . My hubby and I have been together for 5 years. He's clear and so am I. I have the antibodies that show I once had chlomidia at some point in my sexual life. That's what I meant. 
Thank you so much for input girlies.

Oh I know hon, so sorry if my question came across wrong.

I had to have a chlamydia test as part of the routine testing too....most women do I think.

I didn't realise it could go away, but I am clearly by no means a doctor, or medically trained in anyway. If your doctor is happy I wouldn't worry.

Really hope I didn't offend :flower:

I had no idea either. I guess I need to ask my doctor when I ho back next month to talk about mine and hubby's test results. Honestly though thank you for all your imputs. 
